But first, a little about us. Crestview Wine & Spirits was founded in December 2001 by current owner, Clint Ayesh. Only months after terrorists attacked the World Trade Center and we saw one of the worst economies since the late seventies, but the lease was signed, and the doors had to open. How does a new small business make it when hundreds of businesses are closing and laying off employees?
Clint says, “Customer service . . . lots of customer service, really.” The location couldn’t have been better for Clint. He grew up in the area, so it felt like home. Though friends and family were close, winning customers still required a personal touch and exceptional customer service. That is exactly what Clint does best.
As a result, on December 19th 2013 Crestview Wine & Spirits will be celebrating 12 years of successfully helping friends celebrate special occasions, entertain their guests, enjoy cold winter nights around a fire with the right spirit and those relaxing summer nights on the deck with the right bottle of wine.
The best compliment Clint has received was from a resident of the "Crestview Mile" and a loyal customer. “He stopped me one day and said, ‘you know the reason I shop at your store? It’s because every time I walk through the door, you guys act like you’re excited to see me: like you’re happy I’m here.” Clint was expecting to hear your knowledge of wines, your location or your selection. Instead he said that being treated like a friend was most important. “That’s powerful. It is now our mission. Customers come first. And, they aren’t just customers to us; they are our friends.” Clint says enthusiastically with a huge smile.
“I have a lot of plans for the next 10 years. I know our customers will enjoy it,” says Clint. “Thanks and cheers to all our customers for making it possible.”
